NG Advantage is talking up just over a year of shipping natural gas to off-the-pipeline industrial users in Vermont, New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. The firm uses a fleet of compressed natural gas tube trailers – currently standing at 27 units – to do so.

Sees Compressed Natural Gas as a Better Bet than LNG

San Francisco-based GTM Technologies has formed a joint venture with UK-headquartered Luxfer whereby Luxfer Gas Cylinders in California will supply Type III cylinders to be used in modules for transporting and storing compressed gases, with a decided focus on compressed natural gas, primarily for energy E&P – exploration and production.

Apache is fracking with natural gas in Oklahoma, working with the global E&P services providers Halliburton and Schlumberger – and with Caterpillar, which stepped up its commercialization schedule to provide its new Dynamic Gas Blending dual fuel upfits for 3512C engines.
