Want Natural Gas to Be Better Climate-Wise than Coal?
Cut Methane Fugitive Losses to Less Than 1% of Production

In order for natural gas to be a better bet climate-wise than coal, fugitive emissions – leakage – should be reduced to less than 1% of total production, says a new working paper from the Washington, D.C.-based World Resources Institute.
