New Book by Linde Business Development Veteran Bryan Luftglass

'The next great wave...'

‘The next great wave…’

Former Linde liquefied natural gas expert Bryan Luftglass – he headed strategic market and business development for Linde Energy Solutions – has written Expansion: How Natural Gas Fuels are Reshaping Transportation in America.

Natural gas vehicles represent “the next great wave” in a sector where battery-electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells have thus far garnered the most attention from the public, states a release.

The Luftglass book traces the history of the people and the companies involved in the development of natural gas fuels since the 1990s. “It highlights the progress, dead ends and twists and turns that allowed the business to reach the inflection point we now sit at.”

‘A Personality-Driven Narrative’

“The book explains how the first trials with natural gas fuels in drilling rigs in the late 2000s set in motion the entire high horsepower LNG and CNG movement,” Luftglass told HHP Insight, “fostering interest by leading equipment suppliers to this market like Caterpillar and GE.”

Expansion “explores the present situation and maps out what is likely to come in the next few years… includes a personality-driven narrative of the history of the business, the current status and an outlook of the industry including how it will affect everyday lives.”

It also includes a review of major natural gas fuel companies as equity investments.
