Dresser-Rand says that it’s produced the first liquefied natural gas from its new small-scale unit, tradenamed “LNGo.” The company intends the product primarily for upstream operations, where it could be used to monetize natural gas that’s currently flared, turn out a salable product at stranded wells, or power drilling or hydraulic fracturing equipment.
