Engie Initiates Partnership with Mitsubishi and NYK Line

Engine has launched “Gas4Sea” as its brand for liquefied natural gas as a marine fuel with partners Mitsubishi and NYK Line of Japan. Gas4Sea services are to commence by year-end using a purpose-built LNG bunkering vessel said to be the first of its kind.

The first-ever liquefied natural gas-fueled pure car and truck carrier for United European Car Carriers has been launched at the Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Company yard in China, according to announcements by UECC and Lloyd’s Register, which classed the vessel.
