Citing “unprecedented collaboration,” a strong coalition of energy companies, environmental groups and philanthropic foundations has launched the Center for Sustainable Shale Development in Pittsburgh, describing the new CSSD as “a unique center to provide producers with certification of performance standards for shale development.”
