Cheniere Ships First LNG Export Cargo

ABS Celebrates Vessel It Classed with GTT Membrane Tanks

The classification society ABS is celebrating late February’s first export of LNG by Cheniere Energy from the Sabine Pass terminal on the U.S. Gulf Coast, noting that the facility’s “commissioning cargo” was carried by the ABS-classed Asia Vision.

Working with Cheniere Energy to Displace Marine Petroleum

Houston-based LNG Central has launched the “LNG America Initiative” to help wean marine and other high horsepower engine operators from petroleum. Liquefied natural gas fuel is to be supplied by Cheniere Energy.
