Fassmer-Built Duel Fuel Boat to Service Helgoland Islands:
The First German LNG Newbuild Will Have Wärtsilä Engines

DNV GL is promoting its role in the design and construction of the first German flag newbuild to be powered primarily by liquefied natural gas. The 262-foot Helgoland is to be delivered by Fassmer in April 2105, and will be operated by EMS subsidiary Cassen Eils.
