Apache & Chevron for Kitimat LNG

‘One of the Most Prolific Shale Gas Basins in North America’

With an eye to exports to Asia, ownership of promising natural gas properties and key projects in British Columbia is shifting: Apache Canada and Chevron Canada are becoming 50-50 owners of 644,000 undeveloped acres in the Horn River and Liard basins, the 290-mile Pacific Trail Pipeline, and the two-train liquefied natural gas plant under construction for exports at Kitimat, B.C., some 400 miles north of Vancouver.
