New Fueling Equipment in Norway and Denmark for Dedicated-LNG Ferries

Norway’s Fjord Line is beefing up the bunkering equipment for its two large dedicated-LNG cruise ferries, installing equipment and initiating new practices at both its Hirtshals (Denmark) and Risavika (Stavanger, Norway) facilities. The ferries currently fuel truck-to-ship at both locations.

Dedicated-LNG ‘Green Tugs’ for the Middle East Market

Rolls-Royce has publicized an MoU with Drydocks World Dubai to provide a range of power and propulsion equipment, including Bergen medium-speed gas engines, for 100% LNG-powered tugboats for the Middle East market. The tugs are to be designed by the Drydocks World in-house team, Rolls says.
