More LNG Barge Orders Expected

At Least Two, Likely This Spring, in the U.S. and In Europe

Executives of two shipping companies advise that they’ll soon make final decisions and place orders for liquefied natural gas bunker vessels. An LNG barge – two? – in the U.S. would be the first on this side of the Atlantic. A new LNG bunker vessel in Europe, while not the first to be ordered, would nonetheless be the first of its type.
