LNG-Fueled Ship Is Bunkered Truck-to-Ship in Helsinki

Norway-based Skangas says it’s made the first delivery of liquefied natural gas for Polaris – the world’s first LNG-powered icebreaker. Polaris is a LNG-diesel dual fuel ship designed and built to use LNG as the primary fuel with diesel as a reserve.

$168 Million Dual Fuel Vessel Slated for 2016 Delivery

Finland’s Arctech Helsinki said Wednesday that it will build a new LNG-diesel dual fuel icebreaking ship for Liikenneviraston, the Finnish Transport Agency, for delivery by winter 2016.
