Engie LNG for Antwerp for 30 Years

Opening at Quay 526-528 Slated for April 28

The Antwerp Port Authority said today that it’s granted a concession for Engie LNG Solutions – formerly GDF Suez – to operate a liquefied natural gas bunkering station for barges. “The concession starts on 1 October this year and runs for a period of 30 years,” the Port says.

Technical Standards and Procedures Study with Lloyd’s Concluded,
As Agreement Is Reached to Harmonize with Antwerp and Zeebrugge

Singapore, the world’s largest and arguably the most advanced ship bunkering center on Earth, continues to prepare for a future with ships fueled by liquefied natural gas. MPA, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, has completed an LNG bunkering Technical Standards and Procedures study with Lloyd’s Register, and has agreed to harmonize procedures with the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge in Belgium.
