Finland Backs Three LNG Terminals

$83 Million for AGA, Manga and Skangass at Three Ports

TEM, Finland’s Ministry of Employment and the Economy says it will back the construction of three liquefied natural gas terminals with subsidies of 65.2 million euros – some $83 million at current rates – and that the stimulus will result in more than 200 million euros being invested in the facilities.

Linde’s AGA unit in Sweden is talking up the naming and impending deployment of Seagas, “the world’s first LNG bunkering boat,” which will provide liquefied natural gas fuel to Viking Line’s new Viking Grace dual fuel passenger ferry, and possibly other vessels in Stockholm harbor.

Linde Units Will Support Viking Line Operations in Stockholm

Two Swedish units of Linde are collaborating on LNG fueling in Stockholm harbor – Linde’s AGA has contracted with Linde’s Gas Cryo AB (and Norway’s Fiskestrand Verft) for a bunkering vessel to deliver liquefied natural gas to Viking Line cruise ferries.
