Firm Orders Two New Dual Fuel Trailing Suction Hopper Units

Belgium’s DEME has ordered additional dual fuel dredging vessels. The firm has chosen Wärtsilä 34DF dual fuel engines to power the larger of the two, and is deciding between Wärtsilä and ABC/Anglo Belgian Corp for the smaller.

Fueling Station to Be Built on Dutch Wadden Island of Texel

Nieuwegein, Holland-based CNG Net reports a contract to supply compressed natural gas fuel for Texelstroom, the first European ferry to operate on CNG. CNG Net will build a compression facility on the Wadden island of Texel.
