Wärtsilä reported U.S. EPA certification of its 34DF dual-fuel engines Friday, a year and a half after announcing that the 34DF would power the first LNG-fueled U.S. flag vessels, for Harvey Gulf. The 34DF family is the first to secure EPA certification of emission standard compliance, the manufacturer said.
